Thank you for visiting Vital Changes and my site. I specialize in children, families, and adolescents with an emphasis in family systems.
I offer solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy, along with others, depending on each person's situation and goals of therapy. I also have experience working with adults, couples, and individuals seeking treatment for personal growth, symptom reduction, and family issues. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, job-related problems, drugs and alcohol.
I am able to offer a direct approach often working with present problems. I attempt to work toward brief therapy unless otherwise indicated. Therapy can be a very beneficial part of life and development and I hope you choose to experience this with me.
My specialties include children, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals. Depression, relationship issues, blended families, and substance abuse are my immediate specialties, including individuals who often have more than one diagnosis. Other specialties include motivational interviewing and harm reduction. I am an Asian American therapist that can offer an empathic relationship with the client. I understand culturally-sensitive issues that may arise, including many aspects of traditions and stereotypes in this culture.
I look forward to working with you and your family to create a safe and therapeutic environment for change. Be well.
